Abstract

Teenage pregnancy carries significant health risks for both young mothers and their babies, including premature birth, low birth weight, anemia, and preeclampsia, which can jeopardize the safety of both mother and child. The high rate of teenage pregnancy is influenced by various factors, such as lack of knowledge about reproductive health, limited sexual education, and societal pressures like early marriage. Furthermore, insufficient understanding of family planning and limited access to healthcare services exacerbate the situation, impacting both economic well-being and child development. Therefore, an empowerment program that focuses on increasing young mothers' knowledge of healthy family planning, proper contraception use, and financial management skills is essential to reduce unplanned pregnancies and create healthier, more prosperous families. This program aims to enhance the quality of life for young mothers and their families by providing appropriate education and better access to healthcare services.
